What I'm Doing Now.

  • UX. I am currently part of a small team of designers on Comcast's Xfinity Mobile team (via Think Company) as a Senior Experience Designer 🎉

  • CAPOEIRA. As a (former?) serial hobbyist, I am shocked to report that I am still training 3x a week with my capoeira school.

  • FLOREIOS. For the past couple of years, I've been working on floreios (acrobatics) to bring to my capoeira games. The macaco ("monkey") is the first that I fell in love with—I got my left macaco a couple of years ago, and now I'm working on the other side! Other floreios on my 2024 wishlist are: macaco em pé and aú de coluna.

  • SLEEP. After noticing my body breaking down, both physically and mentally, over the past year or so, I've decided to finally prioritize my sleep health. First habit I am working on: not bringing my phone into the bedroom. Baby steps...

  • PUNCTUALITY. I drive my husband crazy with my lack of punctuality, so I am focusing on getting to things early. You might be wondering why this is on my Now page, but I mean—it does take a lot of mental energy and preparation to change my previous mindset. (Also, I'm hoping that the embarrassment of publishing this on my Now page will get me to learn the art of punctuality more quickly.)
